I have added a new Autism Graphicssection. There you will find my animated snow globes, as well as a few glitter and puzzle ribbon graphics.
I also have a fairly new My Space page. There I will be scrapbooking my autistic son's last 16 years.
This site has become quite busy with visitors over the last couple of years. I do hope those who have visited have found something useful. :) It would be a great help to me if you would let me know of any autism related things you would like to see on this site. If you have an idea, or would like to comment on something, then feel free to send it to me in an email.
Welcome to Parents and Carers of Autism
"I thought I would get pregnant, have a child like everybody else does, disability never occurred to me. It was a shock.
Meeting other parents helped me overcome my grief."

About Us
We are a group of parents and carers of children with autism. We are not 'professionals', but we all have major experience with autism. We know first hand of the difficulties parents face when raising an autistic child. We have been through the heartbreak, as well as the joys that do come with these special children. Our aim for this website is for it to become a community where we can support each other, as well as being a source of information.
Have you ever had a day where you just wanted someone to listen to you? You may not want 'professional' advice, but just a friendly chat with someone who really does 'understand'. This is what our message board is for. Whether you talk about autism in general, your child, or talk about the weather! You will be assured someone will talk back.

ASD Survey
ABA4Autism.com and the Psychology Department at the University of Tennessee at Martin are conducting a second survey on the causes of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). This survey is for mothers of children with ASD as well as mothers of normally developing children who are ten years of age or younger. Mothers who participate in the survey will receive a free ABA program to teach their child to follow directions, as well as free ABA mini programs for common problems like sharing. You can take the survey here.
